Product Upgrade Notice: LPF Series Upgrade with Global Cable and Latest PSE Certificate

LPF series is one of MEAN WELL's best-selling models, which is widely used around the world. In order to reduce the frequent modification of wires due to various safety regulation requirements, MEAN WELL has integrated all LPF-16 /25/40/60/90 series cable replacement by global certificate cable to reduce modification and MOQ issues.

In addition, according to the Japanese latest PSE regulations, new versions of the J61347-1 (H29) / J61347-2-13 (H29) and J55015 (H29) are mandatory. As a result, the new PSE certificate for LPF series products will be updated simultaneously before the expiry date 2020.06.30. However, the LPF series with dimming function models cannot acquire the new PSE certificate since they cannot meet the latest safety requirement of isolation between output and dimming wires. The replacement models can be found in MEAN WELL product lines.

The following standard product series are upgraded to the new version after the production dated 2019/12/31 (production lot.: W2002D). MEAN WELL will fully absorb the costs incurred from this upgrade and will not increase the product price.
