Due to the increasing demands from applications that require a completely silent power supply in recent years, in addition to the single output UHP series products being available for purchase, MEAN WELL is proud to introduce the AC-DC 400W low-profile modular fan-less power supply, UMP-400 series.

This product is a 1U low profile power supply which can also be modularized. The concept of being flexible and modular makes it an uncommon type of power supply on the market. It not only can be used as a single enclosed PSU, but also a multiple outputs PSU if installs the available NID35/65/100 series DC-DC converter module cards into the UMP-400 PCB. In our planning, UMP-400 as a standard product it just supplies single output rail, either 24 or 48V. When you need multiple output rails, please contact MEAN WELL. We can provide customized services immediately. Up to 4 rails of output voltage can be provided. The output voltage can fully meet the needs of various machine, equipment and applications that require multiple sets of outputs.

The main features of this product are: can be modular so configurations are definitely flexible, no need of fan cooling or any other conduction cooling iron plate to output its full rated power 400W. If a pre-defined cooling plate were attached to the bottom of PSU case, UMP-400 can be in operation at a high temperature, 60 °C. 1U low profile housing features no space constraints in installation, and so forth. It is especially ideal for related applications such as communications and networking, industrial automation, communications equipment and distributed power architecture.
