Unprecedented Powerful LED Driver XLG Series— Limited Pre-Order Notice

The global leading LED driver brand, MEAN WELL officially announces the pre-order notice of XLG family. Launched in December 2018, XLG family is the new generation of the excellent-cost-performance metal case LED driver. Due to its constant power design and excellent cost performance features, the latest release XLG-25/50 series have already received wide and high recognition from customers. Not to mention the fact that the number of orders continue to boom. XLG family (75 W -240W) will also be listed in the near future and provide a more complete full range of product lines.

The XLG family is complied with the latest version of IEC61347/GB7000.1-2015 and UL8750 international safety regulations. The output and dimming lines are also completely in accordance with the new regulations with isolation to ensure the users’and luminaire system safety during installation. Moreover, the output/input cables adopt the exclusive MEAN WELL international globally certified cables to facilitate the customers to easily match the luminaire system. Customers can sell their luminaire system all over the world without changing the cables.

Besides, to fit the modern LED lighting design trend for slim and compact size, the product size design of XLG family is much more compact than the previous generations. By combining with modern LED light source and COB design, a wide range of output current application and constant power function design greatly reduce the number of LED driver models. XLG series covers a broad range of outdoor lighting products, including lighting/street lighting /floodlighting/stage lighting/fishing lighting/horticulture lighting, etc.

As the orders of the XLG-25/50 series are a lot more than expected. Till now, we have received 50,000 units firm order. In addition, taking the Chinese New Year holiday into consideration, the production schedule adjustment and some raw materials supply can be expectedly tight. However, to keep the fast delivery promise, the XLG series will be adjusted to the planned production stocking mode. From now on, the XLG lead time will be extended to 45 days to ensure both the complete production capacity and product quality. Limited production and pre-ordering procedure are taken. Customers are suggested to place the order before 25th January. MEAN WELL will arrange the production and distribution according to the time of ordering. We will continually deliver the stock by the end of March.
