Kort na de release van 8W/10W/20W geisoleerde DC/DC-converters voor spoorwegtoepassingen, blijft MEAN WELL deze productlijn uitbreiden door de RSDW40/60-serie met single output en de RDDW40/60-serie met dual output uit te brengen. Deze converters zijn geisoleerde onboard modules die geschikt zijn voor spoorwegtoepassingen met een hoger vermogen.
De RSDW40/60- en RDDW40/60-series zijn ontworpen conform de universeel standaard maatvoering en pinbezetting voor 2”x 1”-converters. De belangrijkste productkenmerken zijn: low-profile ontwerp (slechts 10,5 mm hoogte), 4: 1 wide input voltage range, breed bedrijfstemperatuurbereik (-40 ~ + 85 ℃) en siliconengelpotting die helpt warmte af te voeren, de levensduur van het product te verlengen en de anti-vibratie, stofdichtheid en vochtbestendigheid te optimaliseren.Bovendien zijn deze converters gecertificeerd volgens de EN55032, EAC TP TC004 en de EN50155 spoorwegveiligheidsnorm, waardoor de RSDW40/60 en RDDW40/60 buitengewoon goed presteren als betrouwbare secundaire isolation, als DC UPS of als batterijspanningsregelaars voor toepassingen zoals spoorwegen, trams, bussen, industriële automatisering, telecom, enz.
